Best Non Toxic Nail Salon in Houston

You’ve probably noticed a lack of polish on your toenails this year; however, all is not lost. Unless you’ve been in an asteroid collision, you’re likely used to plenty of polish around, and you’ve probably got some new building blocks on the side of your nails that you’ve been saving over the years. When the going gets tough, such as when you’re required to work longer hours with less time to make your nails look nice, it’s crucial to step it up a notch with beauty supplies to keep you looking polished. Below are five of my favorite maintenance products for grown-up nails that are natural, subtle, and under-the-radar. Keep scrolling to see my choices.

Nails Inc. Nail Polish All-Purpose

This solution feels great on your dry, chapped nail beds, and it’s also lightweight. It doesn’t leave your nails feeling anything but creamy. Plus, you’ll be thanking me next time you’re at work, dodging mindless coworkers who proffer you cheap and jarred cuticle oil — keep this in your purse for this and all other emergencies.

Not On the Chain QMS Nail Polish Shaving Gel

QMS is my absolute go-to gel for quick, healthy, and buffed nails. It’s also vegan and so cruelty-free. Use this gel all over your nails, or just on your chapped (or dry) nail beds.

Hexwax Bizarre Coils Nail Cream

Chew and press the Hexwax Bizarre Coils foot burn product on dry dry chapped toenails for reduced bleeding. It’s the perfect way to remove the heavy spikes left behind by pulling on broken nail as thick as a three-digit number. Once it’s removed, let it sit for two to three hours, before applying your usual nail polish.

Asics The Open Air Synthetic Air

Sculpted feet are fun to have around, but they can also lead to painful friction while you’re running or walking. Use this product to perfectly cushion your feet, preventing the crush or hang-time that can lead to chapped feet in the future.

Nature’s Key Powder

Simply apply to the top of your nails during the day. Although, I tend to fill it out with a base coat first if I’m in need of extra polish at night.
