Best Non Toxic Nail Salon in Houston

Nails and nails art definitely weren’t much of a trend in the ’80s. So this “pinky” Manicure thing happening on Instagram deserves a spin. You may not be able to get your hands on this groundbreaking Pedicure, but it’s a life-changer nonetheless.

The “pinky” Manicure is actually just a thin, tapered strip of acrylic used to extend and create the tip of a nail, instead of going straight through the nail. The three design factors to take into account are length of tape, tape length, and whether the tape is tapered or not. If you’re not using tape that is tapered, try creating this Manicure with a vertical tape. Alternatively, if you’re using tape that is tapered, but stretching it out too far, lay down a metal pin under the tape strip as a topcoat, lest your acrylic peel off.

We’ve tried this Nail Art out on ourselves with fake acrylics (slightly more expensive — $2 per “pinky” nail) and went with an invisible tape. We know it may look a little weird, but trust us, the results are so stunning!
