For Women’s Health magazine, nail expert Stefany Byrne (the best nail artist on TV) details the need for nails to be a reflection of a woman’s personality at work. Following a high profile divorce, Byrne needed to quit her job to get herself focused on her personal life. But she quickly realized that her nails affected her personal life. “A polish does not discriminate. It can fall off the palm of your hand, stay behind your nails, or stick it all over the top of your desk drawer,” explains Byrne. “Every polish gives off its own scent or fragrance depending on how they are used. So when I take a new appointment, all I have to do is change the polishes,” says Byrne. To her, the biggest mistake women make is the belief that nails look like jewelry or make up. When you are heing into an interview or meeting with a potential lover, you want to know that your nails will look good. You want to know the difference between a pretty, pink shiny nail and nail polish that makes the eyebrows on your skull look like a rock star. You get to know what kind of company you are looking for and make sure you aren’t wearing polish that won’t hold up in the office environment or if you aren’t a salesperson like Byrne. She points out the hidden ways a woman’s nails can tell you so much about her. “I wouldn’t put my name to it, but what a woman puts on her nails can be telling,” she says. So how can you check to see if you’re wearing polish that says enough about your personality to say, “I love you”? “If the color feels wrong, like it’s off. Or if you feel kind of gross, like you’re going to hit people in the he when you smile at them, or like you need to pull yourself together at work,” Byrne says. You’ve probably seen snazzy, modern nail polish concepts being worn on runway shows and by the Hollywood elite. Given that there are lots of trendy colors out there, it’s no wonder that nail art is on the rise. But what do your nails say about you? To determine this, an expert from Tenoverten, one of the most sought-after nail polish brands and trendsetters in this space, shared their top tips on women’s work outfits. Liat chatted with Tracy who gave us her best advice for woman’s work outfits. Tracy is known for doing sketches for everyone from Kim Kardashian West to Rihanna to Gigi Hid to more recently, Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen, Kourtney Kardashian, and more. She has been known to pay attention to how other women style their nails at home, so it came as no surprise that she did some incredible polishing work for this piece. Her list of hair, makeup, and nail trends that she personally knows about is a great place to start. Tracy compared the long-lived nail polish trend with the rather newer nail art trend and then continued. She said, “I think the key to nail polish is the she, not the cuticle.Nail polish is for styling, not for environmental considerations. ” Tracy says that one thing that women forget about when it comes to nail polish is the natural color of the color. She said, “Wear this bright color on to day or night, the way you want it. ” For a truly unique way to style a nail, Tracy suggests going for an “off-the-wall” manicure. Choose a different color than a polish if you want to cut the nail and have your personality shine through. Wearing this, Tracy said, “looks fun and different, and becomes part of your identity. ” Tracy also shared that nails and nails are the perfect place to train your eyes. When you’re wearing nails, there’s no better way to control your attention, that’s where eyes should be, she said. The whole point of nail art is ding a new dimension to your style, so lace up your sneakers and put on your heels, Tracy said. Just be sure to watch out, as she says, “knocking into someone’s personal space doesn’t have to be as serious. ”

Tracy vised keeping your nails in good shape every week, even when you wear polishes. You should not be wearing polish every day, since there are perfectly good polish options out there, she said. Tina ds that manicures should be similar to your hair routine. “Women have to have a plan to get a perfect manicure every week,” Tracy said. Of course, you have to keep the solution to your manicure in a UV-safe bottle. Tracy vised that a nail file and a damp cloth are the best way to remove nail polish from your hands.Tracy says the best thing you can do is buy salon treatments. Tracy said that taking out your own nails every week is not practical because of the cleanliness of all the surfaces of your nails.

Tracy said that nails say a lot about a woman, and they should not be ignored in her professional life. So, next time you get ready, nail art should be right at the top of your list.

The ideal top coat she suggests is one with no bases, which means that your color can sit on top of the polish. No base allows you to wear a tan base and still have that orange, orangey color. The best bases are ones that have a patina effect or a chunky surface, like one with wine glass bes.
