Best Non Toxic Nail Salon in Houston

If you’re anything like me, you know that time is of the essence and that buffing, polishing, and hammering nails are not the most energy-efficient ways to keep them in shape. As they say, “less is more,” which is why any time I can turn my hands to another task rather than obsessing over nails, I do. Since it’s all about strength nowadays, one way I wish I had known when I was first starting my life as a manicurist was to use “little surprises” to get stronger nails.

Of course, when I’m finished with the “little surprise,” it’s either cool to the touch or on the verge of falling off. Neither is optimal, though if you’re really into these tricks, I suggest picking your spots carefully. Since the idea of no nail surprises comes up often in my tweets, I thought I’d run down some other cool treatments for getting stronger nails you can try.

1. Use a spot-on surface treatment

It can be as simple as applying a hydrating base coat to a cuticle. Another option is building up the length of a cuticle paste to a tool as flexible as a dime to strip your cuticles using a set of tongs or tweezers. Now that my nails are literally off the scale with growing ages, this feels more like the plan.

2. Use a keykerchief

Many owners of broaches use their kerchiefs to rub off excess oil on their nails. I’m going to give you an equally easy tip. If your nails are overly shiny, dip the underside of your keykerchief into a base coat and rub down to achieve a cool yet comfortable shine.

3. Apply Burt’s Bees Nail Peel

Speaking of highlighting, let’s go over a great product we’ve found at Coupon Queen. Looking for something that could do that? Try Burt’s Bees Nail Peel (classic, thick, and white) for free, with a coupon code at checkout.
