Here’s how you can remove an orange peel-like color from your nails.
Cut off the top half of a nail after your nails have been covered with lacquer. Then use a round nail file, such as the O.N.E. ONE OPI File ($17) to lightly scrub the edges of the cuticle as well as the nail bed itself. The square finish on the ORPI Two OPI File ($13) will not be quite as slick and will also create a more natural, polished look. Tip: Add a small amount of lemon juice to a small pot, then add one small lemon slice to the pot. Allow to stand for about 15 minutes. Once the polish remover has done its job, rinse the polish out with warm water before using a nail decal or glue to cover up your extension cuticles.
