Best Non Toxic Nail Salon in Houston

Those little nails that clip over all your toes have that rock-star appeal that beauty-conscious women are always coveting. And, thanks to the dominance of short nails in professional arenas, especially nail art, women can make statements without taking up a lot of room. With their attention-grabbing beauty, short nails are practically an accessory in themselves.

“Women are more willing to rock a short, chic nails look than they are to go the nail salon route,” a nail technician at Super Nails explained. “Short, chipped, long and getting long, we still love our nails!”

Women are more willing to rock a short, chic nails look than they are to go the nail salon route.

We can’t resist your hands. Click through the slideshow above to see how to rock a short, glamorous look in the salon and on the street at the same time.

Short, stylish and, yes, fun, these tips will make you look stylish and feel like a modern-day rockstar.

Here are six quick tips to rock short nails quickly. Keep in mind that these suggestions may not be for every situation, or your nails may look different depending on your hairstyle and skin tone.

1. Open the 2nd round of steps using the tip of the pair instead of your nails for optimal coverage. Keep it simple with a clean back-of-hand.

2. Focus on the white triangle, writing a simple statement in dark shades for an edgy/provocative look.

3. Don’t over-accessorize! Focus on a white line across your nails. For a bolder style, trace another vertical line throughout the shape. Think of geometric shapes.

4. Do “lumberjack like” and apply a wood-colored base coat. Remember to mirror your fingers with white polish.

5. With your middle finger, trace a “V” against the tops of the black lines. Alternatively, write a “Z” across the right length of your middle finger and set it beneath the line.

6. Keep the eye brows free. As you draw a pattern, keep the shadow exactly where it ends so that this can be reflected in the pattern.
