With all the talk about how Instagram feeds are all about glitter and beauty with no connection to their reason for being, the fact that vegan nail polish is one of the hardest things to come by is shocking. This all changed this month when vegan nail boutique Magic Shoe opened for business, and the $30 service is available exclusively in Las Vegas.

For all of you kids out there, Victoria’s Secret doesn’t sell vegan nail polish, and Beyoncé has yet to publicly confirm any plans to debut “natural” nail polish. The “green” tag on products, especially those found in the cosmetics world, remains a major point of contention and something highly debated amongst online audiences. However, the shop serves all things sustainable, and all the vegan nail polish is 100 percent plant-based.

While we’re huge fans of a couple vegan nail services at salons that carry vegan polish and even offer vegan manicures, a brick-and-mortar nail polish store like this would definitely open the door for a vegan lifestyle to go mainstream. The brand’s founder, Samuel Mehra, even revealed he’s already had a one-day pop-up offer that sold 250 nail polish bottles at $5 a pop.

We’re down with anything that can get our nails dry and shining as ever, and in the future, you can bet we’ll be back at Magic Shoe.
