Everyone loves their nail polish. They add a pop of color, are comfortable when manicured and also come in all kinds of colors and designs to make the shape of your fingertips look the best. I believe that people like nail polish because it’s fun and can help them feel more beautiful.
Recently, an experiment was performed to see what kind of nail polish could be applied in a beautiful way and still be safe. First, they applied with the safest type of products. It was orange and purple, not too bright, but enough to keep colors together, and also used a natural formula. Then, they used the most toxic, bright orange polish. You can ask a manicurist to draw a rough outline. These products would leave a messy residue on the nail and can cause permanent damage to the skin. Before applying polish, hand the polish to your friend. Use a different nail polish that isn’t as toxic and can be used by different skin types. Use the polish from the same palette. Most professional manicurists and salons use the same line. Start by painting the tip with a safe pink color, like Manic Panic, OPI or Essie. Top that with a truly dangerous orange polish. Now, you have to color your nail. With something like Kryolan, I love to use Essie brand pink for the tips. You can also use Kryolan on the tips and stick with the pink polish for the rest of the nails.
The final final test was with the worst nails on the planet. It was orange, but it was like a crazy orange because it was sprayed on their nails. They then used the dangerous orange polish, and then painted the nails with Kryolan in natural and dark hues.
These nails would not be beautiful even if they didn’t have polish, but they are beautiful if they have polish. People are dying from the extra product they put on the nail.
Here are some tips if you need to apply nail polish.
– First ask a manicurist to draw a line. Be careful not to paint the tips of your nails like they have a gun in their hand.
– Using a piece of white paper, when trying to get it on, carefully brush a small amount of nail polish on top of the white paper. Then you can finish off with the black polish.
– You can only use one color per nail and try to paint only the edges of the nail and not the tip.
– Before painting, let it dry for at least five minutes. Don’t just use a small amount of nail polish on top. This could spread onto your skin if your nails get messed up.
– Most professional manicurists and salons use the same shade because it doesn’t look too different from one another. Before painting, take a total of three minutes to allow the polish to dry.
– Always try the polish before you apply it to a nail. Find out how much polish the person needs and then go from there. Be gentle.
– A lot of times, bad nail polish sprays on your nails. That’s why its important to wait at least five minutes before applying paint.
– If someone is applying nail polish that has been sprayed on, rub the polish off with your finger.
– Whenever you go to a salon or treat yourself, see what shade of polish they use in the rainbow.
Like I said, I am not the best nail polish artist so please don’t try this experiment on yourself or take it to the salon. Most people might come home with a new manicure. Please go to a registered salon and have your nails done safely!
