Best Non Toxic Nail Salon in Houston

Anyone who’s ever been envious of someone who is constantly working on their nails needs to take note of this.

In the war on flossing, there’s the flip side: some people just can’t stop peeling their own nails. It’s onerous work at any time of year, but if you’re tired of seeing the results of your carelessness and your roots can’t hold out long enough to recover, simply don’t get manicures in the shower until you get home. It’s happening to me.

And while the nearest manicurist may be hours away, at least there are a couple of other options to get your nails every time. Ahead, we’ve rounded up the best of the bunch, so you can add some polish to your rotation without leaving home.

Sheet day

If you have the time, get to your local nail bar (which is out there if you have any free time) or your local salon so that you can have your nails cut and file by an expert before having to cut and file them yourself. But if you really want to spice up your manicure from the store, consider picking up a dryer sheet. I get mine boxed in at CVS, but you could just use this sheet to dehydrate your nails before filing them.

Nail clippers

Your cuticle is a great place to trim as it’s not a crucial part of your manicure, and if you’re convinced that your nails need more care than that, investing in a regular set of nail clippers is a fantastic way to help you achieve that look. Most manicure shops carry nail clippers in single, two, and even three-piece kits. If you’re tempted to grab a pair you can see which ones work best for you by simply walking around the salon and asking for recommendations.
