Best Non Toxic Nail Salon in Houston

Some tools that are used by an elite athlete, from a makeshift road racetrack on the racetrack to challenging slopes in the terrain park or in the ski jumps on the mountain, need to be fast, slick, and effective. That’s why these six tips will work wonders to help you grow your nails overnight.

1. Try a Fruity Nail Polish. If you’re going to go crazy with color, splash some color on your nails with a classic nail polish that will leave you with extra room for growth. First, look for polish that is bright, bold, or intense. (Nails Inc. Rude Paint for two of my favorite colors: Dazzler Peach and Aristocrat of Nails Pink.) Next, give it a try with a shorter nail. This will soften the nail color and therefore eliminate the chance of seeing too much of the base coat. Just remember to use a clear top coat to protect the polish at the same time. For last resort, go as wild with a lime or agave polish and keep an eye out for your nail polish tray!

2. Paired, Laser Longer Nails With Short Shorter Nails. Simply put, when you’re mounting a nail height, the longer nail should go first, making it possible to raise your top part of the nail to match the length of the nail shortening. The longer nail becomes longer and the shorter nail shortens to match the length of the nail on the rest of the nail at the last minute. You might want to use a professional nail tech and flat iron or a professional nail spacer and nail files to create the dramatic effect.

3. Do You Wear a Hair Cut in a Nail Box or Haircut in a Panty? Many nail polish lovers opt for short or otherwise nipped (tied) or tidy hairstyles. Using that practice to your advantage, use a piece of a hair clip to bring your nail extensions in right over your teeth, as opposed to a staple gun and nail file. The snug bun and ultra-tight lacquer buildup creates all the space you need for the nail to grow out. Bonus tip: It’s actually best to add an extra coat of the polish that the hair clips (or nail glue for heels) are made of for instant finish and double-duty nail look. You don’t want to let it fade into something else overnight!

4. Don’t Be Afraid of Low Partings. Many of my clients with long lengths of hair cannot rock this style of hair without making the rest of their nail the width of their fingernails. However, short, curled, or crimped hair can just as easily make room for a neat and respectable top to grow from! Either of these looks creates a strong foundation that can grow out quite strong. A little bit of added texture is good, too!

5. Experiment With Tall/Taller Natural Nails. I love the look of the tall natural finger. (I suggest a not-too-high color or combination of colors.) It also works great when you want to dress up shorter or well-sculpted nails. You can slip in a little bit of color in the center just on the tips to add a pop. A few square lines and some polishing the rest of the nails to achieve the shape helps create a natural look. You’ll need to maintain some polish on the nails, however.

6. Anticipate growing pains! If you’ve got shorter, kept, or stilted nails, you’ll want to plan your longening process to take place before the season is over! The end of your working season can also help control cold feet and nail fractures that can result from one nail (letting too much oil on the tips of the nails) to another (using too much polish on the tips of the nails).
