Nails: A Very Serious Business
Gone are the days of clipping a little bit of nail trim. Chipping and chiseling are a definite no-no, while a manicure with manicure chips is unacceptable, much less the condition of new-to-baths babies.
With the seemingly endless supply of 3-D file and nail shaped crystals available at all parts of the beauty supply store, you can imagine the variety of nail art styles that can be born from just one little finger and an acrylic manicure. Mom is constantly providing color options for her little one, but sometimes getting a spare set of color when her little guy has a particularly fierce hue is practically a chore.
Luckily for moms, we’ve rounded up some pointers for coloring out your tot’s tiny claws, and we’ll even show you a few nail art styles they can master too.

You can draw inspiration from celebrities for a way of limiting damage. Not all of these styles, however, work well with newborn babies and only can be done with very short nails. Gisele, while a tad too on the crazy side, is your inspiration.

Your first instinct when your toddler starts rocking you to sleep might be to put them to bed with a fanny pack, especially when his little fingernails are especially scraggly. Instead, find an idea of how you would like your kid to do nails with his sparse nails, and start to nail it, one little heel at a time. You can provide you fingernails, or use an adhesive to attach your coloring scheme to your kid’s hands and feet.
