Best Non Toxic Nail Salon in Houston

Looking to get the biggest bang for your beauty buck? You’re in luck! A gaggle of make-up editors and manicurists from The Cut hit Upstocklondon this past summer for a “Fresh Edit.” The cheeky pair of makeup editors conducted nine make-up bag sessions with different editors from the month prior at the super-fashionable Londontown outpost of Upstocklondon. After soaking up their uniquely chic beauty looks, we can tell you that a few of the first make-up trends to hit the nail polish shelves and, to our knowledge, still represent the fall and winter collections. They have also changed one hell of a lot, so let us know how this kind of nipping and tucking to the beauty trends applies to your personal taste, so that next time you’re in need of a new bold nail polish, you can confidently talk your boyfriend into picking out the bright hues and polishes rather than the cold-weather brunettes. We’ll leave the final decision to you, but take notes below.

Next, take note of the cosmetic NailBlender Cam that is rolling out, a beauty tool that offers access to the formula of over one hundred nail polishes. It’s a genius new tool that should have been launched years ago.

Have you seen the new ghd GmbH heated conditioning nail polish remover? It can either be used as a separate product or used with the lacquer remover. If you’re into makeup remover, and need to temporarily warm up the remover itself, it’s a massive win.

Blush Always “make bold lips”. Nails are more bold than lips. Taking one-twosomes of shades that really complement each other. Nails tend to last longer and last better than the whole of a lip gloss. I’ve used Vanicream Lipbalm and it’s lip balm paste.

Stay away from Pinks. Some shades are way too fragrant for my taste, others are very tarry. When working with the entire spectrum, it can be an overwhelming task to control what to choose and what to leave. So if you can, select eyeshadow primer first, then apply lip gloss or lipstick, then undercoat nails to finish. If you’re using a bit of concealer, choose bold reds and golds (but only them!).

Focus on trend peaks or light peach. High-shine products are often a luxury. When working with a lower part of the aesthetic, a peachy shade is always considered a trend peak, not in the U.S., but in the U.K.

Add a shot of each season’s core colors to complement each other. Blush lip, grey shadows and plum blushes make for a beautiful, potent trio. Go for three each from the pantheon of fall and winter months.

Forget the shine. Storing a quality nail varnish is a priority, along with adding a store cup holder, luxuries like candles, flatware, and other small luxuries.

Keep in mind that skin looks much different once it’s moisturized and properly cleansed. In the summer, the best solution for dry, damaged skin is a serum, and it is in the fall that you will be able to find one that’s both super hydrating and provides an instant coat of color.

P.S.

Now that you’ve noticed how much trends are changing, take note. In certain cases, the trendy nail polish seems to be ending, so tread carefully and be ready to dress and act accordingly.
