Best Non Toxic Nail Salon in Houston

You know a manicure isn’t the best of looks, so thankfully you have succesful nail pro Laura Leigh to keep you nicely made up as your tips flash all over the room.

Tips from Leigh, who launched her own brand All Nails in London last year, can help you achieve fabulous yet comfortable style. With a sweet insight into simple no-fuss tricks to avoid breakage and how to create the look you want at home, Leigh clears up the biggest nail dos and don’ts for all visitors to your home.

This 20-minute tutorial will have you ready for a night on the town.

Door step: Buy a squishy to start and a foam brush to get a perfect touch.

Sticker happy: Before placing on nail, spread a multicolor powder makeup sponge on your hands. (Ensure the sponge is completely dry before rubbing.)

Every time: Wash and dry nails at least once a week.

Use it: Don’t overcoat after use, just you need to remove the tip that is dirty. It’s a must to scrub down the tip and brush off any dirt with shampoo.

Bowlegged: Try rubbing a container of nail polish remover into your nails and rub it onto the tip, just like you would with your hands.

Any kind of waterproof: We love a little bit of brand YSL White Rose Cream, any shade of Essie Le Petit Girl, The Ink Hat by Louboutin (a bright nail color) or a bold red, orange or green polish.

Class: In the winter we like to keep our nails painted pink or very light rose pink to keep it fashionable yet cozy. Check out our favorite nail polishes for winter or find our favorite polish color ever at Sephora.

Always: After all is said and done, towel dry your nails to prevent that dreaded dryer head moment.

Waterproof: Keep your nails clean by washing your hands, then using a non-stick scrubbing pad and wash your hands together while rubbing the pad onto your nails for extra oomph.

For a full-proof manicure, Laura has a formula that’s tough to scratch. To get your hands molded and fused, take a cup and pour two tablespoons of corn syrup into it. Let sit for 30 minutes and scrape the mixture with your fingers, waiting for the mixture to settle. And that’s it! Not just any corn syrup will work, you need dark chocolate chips.

For her morning manicure, Leigh exfoliates her fingers and then applies a good amount of Vaseline, to protect and open up your nails.

A couple steps of each step are filmed above, for a complete guide to manicure details, including the inseam pull, three steps and 10 tips, you’ll need.
