Best Non Toxic Nail Salon in Houston

When you make a handful of pretty little French twists or fancy white manicures, you assume that every nail is going to stick around forever, but a simple home remedy can give you the added boost of not only growth, but also nailwear that’s getting stronger and longer.

Make Your Nails Grow Faster With Some Sunlight

When your feet are bare, there’s no excuse for the fragility of your digits, but who wants to deal with creaky nails after just a couple of hours? It’s not ideal, but if you still need a mani, you can make your feet look pretty by applying a little sunlight to your nails. It’s the first step for natural nails.

What You Need:

A soft, strong base coat with a shine coating, such as Gucci Box Eau de Toilette ($24)

A good long-life top coat, such as Colorescience Ultramex ($16)

A few drops of nail oil (we recommend Moroccan Oil, which is $19)

Dried nail debris to cleanse your nails

For your fingertips, the choice is between the so-called hydromeshower (which makes it easier to form nail trimming with a spade), or rehydrating your nails in clean water by dabbing between your fingers. We’re huge fans of the rehydrating option and love adding just a little drop of alli pressed rose water ($22) to our natural-oil conditioning treatments to make them greener and fresher.

Directions:

Prep your cuticles with a handful of pressed rose water. If your hands are dry, dust off a few drops of dewy moisturizer (try Nom Nail, which is $15) for extra moisture. The only thing you’ll need to add during this step is a little bit of drugstore-level nail polish remover.

For fingers, you’ll want to paint your nails with an all-purpose top coat.
