Do they follow the industry standard?
Many health inspectors and safety experts feel that many nail salons may not be complying with safety standards, according to the National Safety Council. First and foremost, do the salons follow the NSF International’s (Nail Code of Practice) standard — they do now — which prohibits nails being worked on under any conditions other than the “suitability of the client,” which includes temperature, humidity, air flow, temperatures, and humidity for the time being.
