With Halloween under our belt, we’re alrey gearing up for holiday nail art and holiday parties! That means it’s time to do some Pinterest-ing and stocking up on polish for parties! Check out some of our favorite tips below.

The best “halloween” tips include purchasing affordable polish that won’t have streaky glitter covering nails, whether it’s vegan or not.

Pinterest tip: Acrylic brush doesn’t suit all (mainly kids are interested in glitter) and simply use a thin brush with a striper tip to mimic your regular nail tip and clean it up. A buffed-out nail would work just as well.

Pinterest tip: Whenever possible, choose gel/wet gel rather than polish because it won’t bleed and is cheaper on cuticle file.

Pinterest tip: For gel/wet gel, slip two “sticks” on each toe (remember the stick you h at K-mart?) and then wrap a blistered sheet around the other one.

Pinterest tip: Make sure your brush isn’t completely flat when you apply. You can use anything you like and brush correctly to get that base color.

Pinterest tip: Cure nails in the fridge (at 30-degrees Celsius) to cure gel polish for up to a day and a half.

Pinterest tip: Take off polish when it dries from the set-up temperature and keep dry.

Pinterest tip: A heated pot for alcohol dehydrator might sound odd, but it works just like a Pamper P in that it evaporates polish.

Pinterest tip: Make sure your alcohol product is not above 90ºF.

Pinterest tip: You can achieve a semi-permanent nail she with jelly polish (nail glitter, for example).

Pinterest tip: Top gel polishes with the purple polish one to make it taste fresh. For bolder shes, put two pink, purple, blue, green, or purple polishes on the top and bottom of the nail polish using one to tease and one to do the base color.

Pinterest tip: Your nail polish brush can be super handy when it comes to painting nail art!

Pinterest tip: When you need to remove polish, a gel brush is perfect for the job!

Pinterest tip: Keep your oil/based oil in the refrigerator to last all day.

Pinterest tip: Gently press off any left-over product with a paper clip and then sweep it away.

Pinterest tip: All polish stores have an orangewood stick for side nail art and you can also fill the circle with acrylic, or glue plaster to get a similar effect.

Pinterest tip: Whether you’re redoing the polish for Halloween or just doing a major top coat remover or d on top coat next time, keep your brush angled directly at the base (if you prefer?).

Pinterest tip: Then apply base color top coat using the cuticle brush with a striper tip and smooth as you would regular nail brush.

Pinterest tip: Hint: You don’t need a striper-tip striper tip to do large jumps like a bouquet (sag!). This trick works for small jumps like a flower with water, or all the way up to ornaments.

Pinterest tip: Every time you try something new on your own nails, experiment with different forms or textures. For example, do you go the negative direction with a glitter base or glitter and just top with the color of your choice?

Pinterest tip: Sculpt not paint! Seriously!

Pinterest tip: Make sure you get every ingredient in the bottle!

Pinterest tip: Think about your client’s skinwhen buying a gel polish product aswell.

Pinterest tip: You can use oil jelly or dish soap and scrunched-up paper towels to remove polish.

Pinterest tip: Make sure you have clean brushes for all of your nail art projects.

Pinterest tip: Don’t waste your brush on just a single project because you can reuse it for a lot of different projects.

Pinterest tip: Look for sharp edges and sharp edges on your brush so that it doesn’t just flat touch or flat clean scratches!
