Best Non Toxic Nail Salon in Houston

According to Chadi Merhi, visiting the nail spa is like hosting a bridal shower or bridal party. So to combat any bridal jitters, let’s get started. While most people give themselves the benefit of every inch of good old fashioned upcycling at home, other pampering options have their perks, too. “This type of treatment not only alleviates stress, but a lot of that stress is from trying to work so hard to look and feel presentable while you are waiting for this experience,” he told POPSUGAR.

Chadi launched Phong Nails two years ago, “because I wanted to fill an unmet need in the market — unique, beautiful nail polish designed to both last forever and to be paired with a chic nail design done by master artists at your own home,” he said.

“I’ve been in the beauty business for many years and wanted to do something a little more innovative for my clients.”

Chadi is a bit of a mani-loving hippie, so after getting his own green polish done by Barry M back in 2012, he knew just what he wanted to do next. “I’ve been in the beauty business for many years and wanted to do something a little more innovative for my clients,” he told POPSUGAR.

Chadi set out to create a premium product that mixed polish infused with water, “something a lot of other brands won’t work with because of the high maintenance,” he explained. What resulted is Phong Nails’ 3D crystal polish, made by combining a ceramic crystal with high-quality acetone.

Chadi views this very differently than other polish treatments. “Everyone already has a brush and nail file that can be used at home,” he said. So although the techniques and results are quite similar, it’s more about letting your imagination take control. “I would say the best part of what I do are the pictures I post on Instagram,” he said. If you ever need an inspiration or nail art inspiration that’s as simple as the armrest, he’s got it.
