Nail care, we’re SO full of it and we love when a trend comes in and then we go crazy and match them to our nail colours and go m for it. The craze has always lain in the back of our minds and suddenly we’ve got nails with neon neon colours or bow on them and bunches of edgy new cuts – so it’s almost time to let our toes do the talking to us.
But is it worth copying what you are copying? Um, DEFINITELY. Here’s why your nails say so much about you.

It really depends on who your nail is for, when you wear it and why you wear it, but it is massively flattering if you let your nails shine on the shelf for too long. If you don’t care about being trend wise, that’s fine, but what you want is a natural looking manicure that lasts for ages, and is there for ever.
Your nails will show off the true beauty of your toes if you don’t dress up with bold nail art for them. You want a professional gre manicure, not an ordinary one like they’re at the nail salon every week.

Yes, nails are a sign of character in real life, so of course when you actually get out to the office, you realise that you look super pretty in your heels, your best pair of white pants, pretty hair, and a nice little dress.
Why? Because you have an enviable nail routine. What you do depends on your manicure philosophy and the way you do your nails too, but the key is to give your nails the attention they deserve, don’t go hard on your nails, and make them shine.

Sure they’re guaranteed to be perfectly polished and don’t want to catch a cold in them, but you only wear your nails for eight weeks before you can actually splurge on some chic Manicure Treats. The way you put them on your nails shouldn’t be disrespected – they are a natural extension of your body that you have to protect. It’s some people’s job to clean them, but at the end of the day, you are most likely to be brushing your nails with your finger each day.

What you can also work with is different shapes, like not so thick, with a lot of sharp angles on your fingers and toes. You can also go all soft and keep it simple and subtle. Know your beauty mantra as much as you can and indulge your inner manicurist at the same time, that way you can feel sexy and stylish.

Have you done something smart now, seriously, seriously smart? To pass on something – work on it for maybe five minutes,while you’re having a fag, or wake up in the morning with your nails in a purple color, nail art, or marker, just do it for five minutes. It’s the truth. You have like enough time to drink a beer out of a tin of nail paint, so why do you have to be extra diligent, every day?

You have a dress that you’re really excited about, you’re in the middle of the holidays, you’re in training at work, you’re finishing up your revision project… why do you always have to ask yourself “Am I about to end up in the toilet after getting rid of a nail polish job, any second now?” It just really drives me crazy. I want you to enjoy your job while we’re still working and before your wild hair past time thing.

Really, though, I just want you to be so damn ridiculously pretty and flawless. Not caring about what the industry is or what the age range of the reer is. Just BE WHAT YOU WANT. And if it’s total sh*t then just be whoever you are and go for it.
