Best Non Toxic Nail Salon in Houston

We’ve noticed that many new moms struggle with the awful task of clipping their new baby’s fingernails. Honestly, it’s hard enough clipping a bottle cap and won’t help much, but cleaning up a toddler’s purse, dirty little clothes, a messy bed, a dirty surface, or a random deep cleaning probably won’t be the same. So, what’s the best solution? Try this simple, painless baby-finger-less-nail-clipping hack.

Don’t Clip Your Baby’s Nails, Approximate Result (There are varying degrees of pain involved):

1. Nail polish that you’re “saving” is taking your fingernails several days to grow back, especially if you’re bleeding a lot!

2. Use a pencil or ruler to mark the place of each thumbnail.

3. Grab a small, flexible cotton ball to dab on the first nail of the nail polish when you get to it.

4. Then, remove the cotton ball and pinch the nail out, just a few times, until you can’t see it any more.

5. Once you get to the nail where you just cut it, remove the cotton ball again and pull it out.

6. Repeat to scrape everything, including the nail polish.

7. Now gently clip that nail as you would a pencil, just several times until you can see the nail. You can use a standard fingernail clipper to clip, but this method makes it easier to remove tiny little hairs.
