When the holidays rolls around, you (hopefully) get out your manicure staples and polish options for when you need to get a glowing polish color for the season. While you could go the obvious route of sticking to the “basic (but always amazing) pink, minty green, or metallic base color” route or you could decide to swap it out for a more natural hue, a less traditional option has recently come to the nail arena. First, define where you want the exposed toe nail to be. Then, attempt to highlight and slightly fade the surrounding nail as it becomes white. So be sure to not over-exfoliate in order to keep the color a bit milder.

So, if you are a die-hard nail connoisseur, here’s what you can do to clean up the edges, making your polish last longer. One slightly recommended tip from my own hairdresser is to always do a light clean up, rather than scrubbing the nail at all times.
